The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Dover, NJ, nurtures aspiring advocates and instructors committed to fostering a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. Through comprehensive organic food system education, our program empowers each Fellow to engage deeply with their community. Participants can collaborate to cultivate and market diverse crops, create innovative health education sessions, manage community or school gardens, and integrate food and ecological literacy into educational settings. We are dedicated to enhancing access to healthy foods through support for farmers markets and developing distribution channels while actively mentoring the next generation of leaders. Our immersive six-month residential training at the Allegheny Farm Campus equips Fellows with practical skills, which they then apply during a Community Action Year with local non-profits. We believe that every individual deserving of quality education should have access, which is why we offer this transformative fellowship at no cost, promoting inclusivity in the world of sustainable food systems.
