At Food & Basic Assistance in Garfield, NJ, we are dedicated to providing vital food assistance and support to those facing hunger and hardship. Our program offers a range of services designed to meet immediate needs, including weekly Client Choice Walk-In Food Pantries stocked with refrigerated, frozen, and non-perishable items, as well as a Virtual Food Pantry that allows homebound clients to order groceries online. We also distribute mixed produce bags, packaged dinner meals, and supermarket gift cards periodically to further support our community. Additionally, we offer essential supplies like diapers and period products exclusively for registered food clients, along with our Thanksgiving Distribution Program each November.
