In Hoboken, NJ, the New Jersey WIC program is dedicated to fostering the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits and provide essential resources including nutritious foods, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support. Additionally, we offer immunization screenings, vital referrals for free or reduced-cost health care, and connections to various health and social services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we welcome new participants to reach out to their local WIC clinic for assistance and applications.
