Food & Basic Assistance is dedicated to providing crucial food assistance and support to individuals and families in Mahwah, NJ, who are facing challenging circumstances. We operate weekly Client Choice Walk-In Food Pantries, offering a variety of refrigerated, frozen, and non-perishable food items to meet the diverse needs of our community. In addition, our Virtual Food Pantry allows homebound clients to order essential supplies online, ensuring that everyone has access to nourishing food. We also distribute mixed produce bags, periodic packaged dinner meals, and supermarket gift cards to support our clients further. For registered food clients, we provide additional resources, including diapers, period supplies, and a Thanksgiving Distribution Program to help brighten the holiday season. Our mission is to alleviate hunger and make basic necessities accessible to all, responding urgently to food emergencies with compassion and care.
