Located in Neptune, NJ, the First Step Food Pantry is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to families in need within the community, distributing over 150 food packages each month. Every week, we strive to ensure that local families have access to nutritious and sustainable meals, offering enough food to cover 6-8 meals for a family of four. Our commitment to health and well-being is reflected in carefully curated food pantry packages, which include fresh eggs, fruits, vegetables, and protein sources like meat or fish, alongside non-perishable items to create balanced meals. Food is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with packages available for pickup on Fridays. Doors open at 10:30 AM, and tickets are given out at 11:30 AM, ensuring that those who arrive early receive the support they need. Together, we are taking steps towards a healthier community by prioritizing the nutritional needs of those facing food insecurity.
