Located in the heart of New Brunswick, NJ, Unity Square Community Center is a dedicated initiative under Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, committed to empowering local residents and fostering positive change within a vibrant 36 block neighborhood. We offer a variety of essential services, including advocacy, community gardens, and educational programs, alongside our critical food assistance program. Our food pantry provides emergency food support to those in need, accessible by appointment every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and on the third Friday of each month from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Additionally, open distribution is available without an appointment on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., or until supplies last. At Unity Square, we are dedicated to meeting the urgent needs of our community with compassion and care.
