The Pierre Toussaint Food Pantry in Newark, NJ, is dedicated to providing emergency food assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. We understand the urgent need for nourishing food, which is why we distribute essential groceries at the end of each month during our open hours on the 3rd and 4th Fridays from 10:00 AM to noon. Our commitment extends beyond scheduled distributions; we also respond to emergency situations whenever possible to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Registration for our services takes place on the 1st and 2nd Saturdays of each month from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, creating a welcoming space for those who need help meeting their basic nutritional needs.
