Street Smart Outreach is dedicated to supporting youth and young adults aged 13-21 in Nutley, NJ, who are facing homelessness or unsafe living conditions. Our mission is to identify these vulnerable individuals and effectively meet their immediate needs while connecting them with essential resources. We provide emergency food assistance, clothing, and blankets, alongside access to shelters and crisis intervention counseling. Our outreach team, available 24/7, offers transportation to vital services, referrals to healthcare and social service agencies, HIV/AIDS awareness, and information on safe practices. We also assist with obtaining crucial documents and provide substance abuse education, all aimed at empowering youth to transition to stable jobs and housing. With bilingual counselors on staff, we strive to ensure that every young person feels seen, heard, and supported as they navigate their challenges.
