Located in Paramus, NJ, Food & Basic Assistance is dedicated to providing critical food assistance and support to individuals and families in need throughout the region. Our program features weekly 'Client Choice' walk-in food pantries, offering a variety of refrigerated, frozen, and non-perishable food items, as well as a 'Virtual Food Pantry' for homebound clients that allows online ordering for convenient delivery. We also provide mixed produce bags, periodic packaged dinner meals, and supermarket gift cards to help alleviate food insecurity. Additionally, registered clients can access essential items like diapers, diaper wipes, and period supplies. During the holiday season, we host a special Thanksgiving distribution program to ensure everyone can enjoy a festive meal. We invite those facing food emergencies to reach out for support, as we are here to lend a helping hand to our community.
