Food & Basic Assistance in Paterson, NJ, provides essential food assistance to individuals and families facing hunger. Our mission is to alleviate food insecurity through a variety of services including weekly Client Choice Walk-In Food Pantries, where clients can select from a range of refrigerated, frozen, and non-perishable items. For those who are homebound, we offer a Virtual Food Pantry with online ordering. Additionally, our program provides mixed produce bags, periodic packaged dinner meals, and supermarket gift cards to help meet urgent needs. We also support our registered clients with diapers, diaper wipes, and period supplies. During November, we organize a special Thanksgiving Distribution Program to ensure everyone has access to nutritious meals.
