Unity Square Community Center, part of Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Metuchen, is dedicated to uplifting and empowering the residents of Perth Amboy, NJ. Our mission is to foster community engagement and initiate meaningful change through a range of essential services including advocacy, education, community gardens, and food assistance. Our food pantry offers crucial emergency food support, available by appointment every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and on the third Friday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Additionally, we host open food distribution without an appointment on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or until supplies last. We invite all community members to join us as we work together to create a healthier, more sustainable neighborhood.
