New Jersey WIC, located in Plainfield, NJ, is dedicated to empowering low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years of age, by promoting healthy food habits and overall well-being. Our program provides essential resources including nutritious foods, comprehensive nutrition education and counseling, and dedicated breastfeeding support. We also offer vital immunization screening and referrals for free or reduced-cost health care, as well as access to important health and social services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure new participants can easily connect with us through their local WIC clinic for assistance. Our mission focuses on fostering a healthier future for families in our community.
