Cancer Thriving and Surviving (CTS) is dedicated to empowering individuals in Riverside, NJ, who have completed cancer treatments and their caregivers. Through a supportive and informative workshop format, participants engage in weekly sessions for six weeks, each lasting 2 1/2 hours. Our program focuses on essential strategies to navigate the challenges of life after cancer, including managing frustration, fatigue, and pain, as well as coping with feelings of isolation and uncertainty. Participants learn valuable techniques to enhance flexibility and endurance, make informed decisions regarding treatment and complementary therapies, and enhance their communication with family, friends, and healthcare professionals. Additionally, we prioritize nutrition and assist individuals in setting meaningful personal goals. Join us in this journey towards thriving beyond cancer and reclaiming your life.
