New Jersey WIC in Somerset, NJ, is dedicated to empowering low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old, through essential food assistance and nutrition support. Our program provides access to nutritious foods, comprehensive nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding education, and immunization screening referrals. We connect families with free or low-cost healthcare services and additional health or social resources to ensure every child has a healthy start. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to support new participants and welcome them to apply via phone at their local WIC clinic, reinforcing our commitment to the well-being of our community.
