Meals on Wheels of Ocean County is dedicated to ensuring that seniors in Toms River, NJ, have access to hot, nutritious meals delivered right to their homes. Operating Monday through Friday, with services available on weekends and holidays for those who are frail and vulnerable, our program is designed to meet the dietary needs of our community’s elderly population. Each meal is meticulously crafted to provide at least one-third of the daily dietary requirements established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and our menus are approved by qualified nutritionists. In addition to delivering home-cooked meals, we also offer vital nutrition education and counseling to empower our seniors. While there is no mandatory fee, we kindly suggest a contribution of $2 per meal to help cover food and preparation costs. We are here to serve those in need, promoting health and well-being among our cherished seniors.
