Meals on Wheels of Ocean County is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors in Toms River, NJ, by delivering hot, nutritious meals directly to their homes from Monday to Friday, as well as on weekends and holidays for those who are most frail and vulnerable. Our carefully curated menus, approved by a qualified nutritionist, ensure that each meal meets at least one-third of the daily dietary recommendations set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. In addition to providing home-delivered meals, we focus on nutrition education and counseling to support the health and well-being of our participants. While we encourage a nominal contribution of $2 per meal to help cover the costs, no donation is required, stressing our commitment to accessibility and care for our community's seniors.
