At Mount Carmel Guild's Community Support Program in Trenton, NJ, we are dedicated to providing urgent assistance to individuals and families facing both chronic and temporary crises. Our mission is to alleviate hunger through our food assistance initiatives, offering a three to five-day supply of nutritious perishable and non-perishable food items. In addition to emergency food resources, we support our clients with utility assistance to help prevent service shut-offs, limited financial aid for those without prescription coverage, and essential supplies for newborns, including diapers and formula. We also offer personal hygiene products, basic household necessities, and clothing as available, while connecting individuals to further community services. To ensure everyone’s safety, our food pantry operates with flexible hours that may change in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and we encourage visits once a week for food support.
