Food & Basic Assistance, located in West New York, NJ, is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity through a range of immediate and compassionate services. Our weekly 'Client Choice' walk-in food pantries offer a diverse selection of refrigerated, frozen, and non-perishable food items tailored to individual needs. For those unable to visit in person, we provide a 'Virtual Food Pantry' that allows homebound clients to order essential groceries online. We also distribute mixed produce bags as available and facilitate periodic packaged dinner meal offerings. Clients may benefit from supermarket gift cards, and we provide diapers and periodic supplies for registered food clients. Each November, we host a Thanksgiving Distribution Program to ensure families in our community can enjoy the holiday with adequate nourishment.
