Street Smart Outreach is dedicated to supporting youth and young adults aged 13-21 in West Orange, NJ, who are facing homelessness or unsafe living conditions. Our compassionate team prioritizes meeting the basic needs of vulnerable youth by providing essential services such as food assistance, clothing, blankets, and access to shelter. We also offer crisis intervention counseling, transportation to necessary services, and referrals to healthcare and social service agencies. Education on HIV/AIDS, safe sex practices, and substance abuse is integral to our mission, along with assistance in obtaining vital documents and finding jobs and housing. Our outreach counselors are available 24/7, ensuring that help is always accessible, with many team members fluent in Spanish.
