Located in Westfield, NJ, the Food Service Training Academy is dedicated to combating hunger by empowering individuals to build sustainable livelihoods through our comprehensive culinary training program. Over the course of 15 weeks, participants receive free instruction designed to equip them with essential culinary skills for success in the retail and private food industry. This intensive course covers a range of valuable topics, including nutrition, healthy cooking, and effective communication skills, culminating in industry-recognized certifications such as ServSafe. We invite adults aged 18 and older with a high school diploma or GED to join our transformative program, which runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Transportation assistance is available for qualified applicants, ensuring that we make our services accessible to those who need them most. Together, we strive to create pathways out of poverty and foster a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
