Located in Alcalde, NM, UNM Truman Health Services is dedicated to providing compassionate and confidential healthcare for individuals who are transgender, gender non-conforming, or living with HIV, AIDS, or Hepatitis C. Our team of skilled doctors, nurses, and behavioral health specialists offers a range of essential services including transgender health and wellness, testing and treatment for Hepatitis C, and comprehensive HIV testing and prevention. We enhance our medical offerings with case management, ensuring that our clients have access to support for health insurance and financial assistance as needed. We accept Medicare and Medicaid, and provide free rapid HIV testing during designated hours throughout the week. While we currently have a waitlist for transgender health and wellness services, all other services remain available to our community members who need them the most.
