About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Anthony, NM, cultivates a new generation of leaders dedicated to advancing a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. This hands-on program empowers participants through comprehensive organic food system education, enabling them to become effective teachers and advocates for sustainable practices. Each selected Fellow engages in six months of immersive learning at our farm, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with local non-profits to implement impactful initiatives such as market-style farming, health-focused educational sessions, community gardening, and expanded access to nutritious food. Our commitment to accessibility means we do not charge any tuition, ensuring that passionate individuals can join us in promoting food literacy, supporting farmers’ markets, and developing innovative distribution channels that enhance community resilience. Applications are accepted until March for the following year’s program, typically running from May to October, inviting all those eager to make a tangible difference in their communities to take part in this transformative experience.
