The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Artesia, NM, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Our program empowers Fellows with hands-on training and education in organic farming, food ecology, and community engagement, ensuring that future leaders are equipped to create social, environmental, and economic justice through food systems. This transformative experience includes a six-month residency at our campus, where participants gain practical skills in growing and distributing diverse crops, developing community gardens, and implementing innovative health education initiatives. The Fellowship uniquely promotes accessibility by charging no tuition, allowing us to focus on cultivating impactful leaders who will contribute to local farmers markets, food distribution channels, and collaborative community efforts.
