The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Bloomfield, NM, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates and educators for a just and sustainable food system. Through our comprehensive program, we provide Fellows with invaluable organic food system education, practical experience in diverse agricultural practices, and opportunities to engage in community initiatives. Our Fellows work alongside local partners to grow and distribute crops, implement educational programs in innovative healthcare, maintain community gardens, and enhance food literacy in schools. By supporting farmers markets and direct food distribution channels, we strive to increase access to healthy food for all. The Fellowship combines immersive hands-on training at our farm with a year of community action, allowing participants to apply their skills in collaboration with regional non-profits. Tuition-free and accessible, our program is designed to empower individuals committed to fostering an environmentally balanced and economically viable food system. Applications are accepted until March, with the experience running from May to October.
