Located in Carlsbad, NM, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually assess every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management options that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management or explore medical options such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those facing persistent challenges.
