Located in Cedar Crest, NM, UNM Truman Health Services is dedicated to providing compassionate and confidential care for individuals who are transgender, gender non-conforming, or living with HIV, AIDS, or Hepatitis C. Our skilled team of doctors, nurses, and behavioral health specialists offers a range of essential services including transgender health and wellness, Hepatitis C testing and treatment, HIV testing and prevention, and comprehensive HIV care. In addition to medical treatment, our program emphasizes the importance of support through case management, ensuring that participants can access health insurance and financial assistance when needed. We accept Medicare and Medicaid, and our office provides free rapid HIV testing on designated days. Please note that there is a waitlist for transgender health and wellness services, but we are committed to making all other services readily available to those in need.
