The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Chimayo, NM, is dedicated to sponsoring, training, and empowering individuals to become advocates for a food system that is just, sustainable, and community-focused. By offering accessible, tuition-free organic food system education, we enable our Fellows to engage in hands-on learning through six months of experiential training at our farm. With a focus on diversifying healthy crops, enhancing food literacy, and supporting local community gardens, our Fellows work alongside regional nonprofit organizations to implement educational initiatives, foster farmers markets, and create equitable access to nutritious foods. This transformative journey not only equips each Fellow with practical skills but also cultivates a network of passionate leaders committed to improving the well-being of communities through sustainable food practices.
