In Chimayo, NM, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to age five who are facing nutritional challenges. Our mission is to empower families by providing nutritious food assistance, essential information on healthy eating, and unwavering support for breastfeeding. We also connect participants with healthcare resources, fostering a nurturing environment where families can thrive and feel confident in their ability to achieve lasting health and happiness.
