Located in Church Rock, NM, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. This innovative program provides hands-on training and education in organic food production, empowering selected Fellows to engage actively in their communities. Throughout a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants will learn to grow diverse crops, facilitate health-focused educational sessions, and cultivate school and community gardens. In their subsequent Community Action Year, Fellows will collaborate with local non-profit organizations to enhance food access, support farmers markets, and promote ecological literacy. By eliminating tuition costs, we prioritize inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring that passionate individuals can join us in transforming our food systems for the better. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May through October.
