The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Clayton, NM, cultivates the next generation of advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This unique program offers invaluable training for Fellows through hands-on experiences in sustainable agriculture and community engagement. Participants will engage in organic food system education while collaborating with local partners to grow diverse crops on a market-style farm, implement health-focused educational sessions, and enhance community food access through farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives. Fellows will spend six months immersed in experiential learning at our farm campus, followed by a Community Action Year, where they will apply their skills alongside regional non-profit organizations. With no tuition fees, we are dedicated to creating an accessible pathway for passionate individuals eager to make a difference in the food system. Applications are accepted until March, with the Fellowship experience occurring from May to October.
