Located in Cuba, NM, UNM Truman Health Services is dedicated to providing compassionate and confidential healthcare for individuals who are transgender, gender non-conforming, or living with HIV, AIDS, or Hepatitis C. Our experienced team of doctors, nurses, and behavioral health specialists offers a range of essential services, including transgender health and wellness, Hepatitis C testing and treatment, and HIV testing and prevention. We believe in a holistic approach to care, which includes case management to help participants navigate health insurance and secure financial assistance as needed. While rapid HIV testing is offered for free at specified hours throughout the week, we currently have a waitlist for our transgender health services. Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to the healthcare they need, with Medicare and Medicaid accepted for all services.
