Located in Dexter, NM, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through hands-on training and experiential learning, this fellowship empowers individuals to become educators and leaders in promoting organic food systems. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in diverse agricultural practices including crop production on our market-style farm and the integration of food literacy into local education. They also mentor others, support farmers markets, and collaborate with regional non-profits to enhance community access to healthy food. The fellowship includes an immersive six-month residency followed by a Community Action Year, providing invaluable opportunities to apply their skills in meaningful ways. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
