About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Dulce, NM, is dedicated to empowering individuals passionate about creating a just food system that addresses social, environmental, and economic challenges. Through a comprehensive six-month experiential program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows receive hands-on training in organic food systems, gaining essential skills to serve as educators and advocates within their communities. Participants engage in diverse activities, ranging from growing and distributing crops on a market-style farm to developing community gardens and implementing innovative health care educational sessions. Our mission is to enhance food literacy and support local food initiatives, including farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs, while fostering collaboration with regional non-profit organizations. Applications are accepted through March for the yearly program, which runs from May to October, ensuring accessibility without any tuition fees.
