UNM Truman Health Services, located in El Prado, NM, is dedicated to providing compassionate and confidential healthcare tailored for transgender individuals, those who are gender non-conforming, and people living with HIV, AIDS, or Hepatitis C. Our expert team, which includes doctors, nurses, and behavioral health specialists, offers a range of critical services from transgender health and wellness, to Hepatitis C testing and treatment, as well as HIV testing and prevention. We prioritize accessibility, accepting Medicare and Medicaid, and offer free rapid HIV testing during designated hours throughout the week. Participants also benefit from case management to assist with securing health insurance and financial aid. While there may be a waitlist for transgender health services, we ensure that all other services remain available to meet the urgent health needs of our community.
