The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Espanola, NM, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates and educators committed to creating a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Through a comprehensive training program, we empower our Fellows with hands-on experience in organic food systems, equipping them with the skills to grow diverse crops, maintain community gardens, and deliver impactful health education sessions. Our approach emphasizes the importance of food and ecological literacy and supports the development of direct-to-consumer programs and farmers markets to enhance access to healthy foods. Selected Fellows embark on a six-month immersive experience at our farm, culminating in a Community Action Year where they actively apply their knowledge in collaboration with local non-profits, making a meaningful difference in their communities.
