The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Farmington, NM, provides an enriching opportunity for individuals passionate about fostering a fair and sustainable food system. Through this innovative program, we empower selected Fellows with hands-on training and experiential learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, allowing them to become passionate advocates for socially, environmentally, and economically just practices in agriculture. Our curriculum emphasizes organic food system education and offers practical involvement in a variety of initiatives, including growing and distributing diversified crops, leading educational workshops on health care, maintaining community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy into local schools. We also support fellows in collaborating with farmers markets and direct-to-consumer programs to enhance access to healthy food options, all while connecting with regional non-profit organizations for impactful community engagement. With no tuition fees, our Fellowship program promotes accessibility for all applicants, who can apply until March for a transformative experience running from May to October.
