At UNM Truman Health Services in Fort Sumner, NM, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and confidential care for transgender individuals, those who are gender non-conforming, and people diagnosed with HIV, AIDS, or Hepatitis C. Our experienced team of doctors, nurses, and behavioral health specialists offers essential services, including transgender health and wellness, HIV testing and prevention, as well as Hepatitis C testing and treatment. We prioritize your needs and offer case management to help navigate health insurance and financial assistance. We accept Medicare and Medicaid, and provide free rapid HIV testing on designated days. While there is currently a waitlist for transgender health and wellness services, all other services remain available to ensure every individual receives the care they deserve.
