Located in Hatch, NM, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders in sustainable food practices. This transformative program offers an immersive six-month experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where selected Fellows receive comprehensive organic food system education, focusing on creating a just, environmentally sound, and socially equitable food landscape. During their training, fellows learn to cultivate diverse crops, support local farmers' markets, and establish community gardens while integrating food and ecological literacy into educational settings. Through partnerships with regional non-profit organizations, they apply their skills during a Community Action Year, enhancing food access, promoting healthy eating, and advocating for sustainable agriculture. The Fellowship is tuition-free, exemplifying our commitment to accessibility and the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to contribute to a better food system. Applications are accepted until March for the program running from May to October.
