In Jal, NM, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to empowering individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families by providing vital support and resources during challenging times. Our Family Support team offers accurate information and comprehensive assistance tailored to the unique needs of each family. We focus on enhancing well-being through parent mentoring, nutritional education, and meal planning, as well as behavior management strategies. Additionally, we guide families through the often-complex processes of applying for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
