The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in La Mesa, NM, is dedicated to nurturing future leaders in the pursuit of a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This transformative program empowers Fellows through organic food system education, providing them the tools to grow and distribute diverse crops on market-style farms, implement innovative health education, and cultivate school and community gardens. Our commitment to accessibility means we do not charge tuition, ensuring that every aspiring advocate can participate. Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, selected fellows gain practical insights that they will apply during their Community Action Year, working alongside regional non-profits to enhance food accessibility and promote food literacy.
