The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Lordsburg, NM, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes by offering a comprehensive and free 12-month learning experience. Participants will receive six informative e-booklets, each tailored to address various aspects of diabetes management. The program also includes a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and resources available in both English and Spanish. To foster community connection, we provide information about local events and invite enrollees who share their phone number to participate in our interactive monthly Q&A sessions with diabetes experts from the American Diabetes Association. These sessions offer an opportunity to ask questions, learn about the connections between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways designed to support individuals on their journey to thriving with diabetes.
