Located in Los Lunas, NM, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating empowered advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Through tuition-free training, the Fellowship offers comprehensive organic food system education, enabling participants to become effective teachers and change-makers. During the six-month experiential program, Fellows engage hands-on at the Allegheny Farm Campus, learning to grow and distribute diversified crops, implement health-focused educational sessions, maintain community and school gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy within various activities. Following this immersive experience, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to enhance food access and support local farmers markets and community food initiatives. Applications are accepted until March for the May to October session, inviting those passionate about social, environmental, and economic justice in our food systems to apply.
