About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lovington, NM is dedicated to empowering individuals to become advocates for a fair, sustainable, and healthy food system. Our fellowship program provides hands-on training and education that equips participants with the skills needed to promote organic farming practices and food justice. For six months, Fellows engage in immersive learning experiences at our campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their knowledge in collaboration with local non-profit organizations. This fellowship supports a range of initiatives, including growing diversified crops, enhancing food literacy in schools, and increasing access to healthy food through farmers markets and community gardens. We welcome all aspiring Fellows to apply by March for an exciting journey that runs from May to October, as we work together to create a more just and accessible food system in our communities.
