The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Mescalero, NM, is dedicated to empowering passionate individuals to become advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through our no-cost Fellowship program, we provide comprehensive organic food system education, equipping Fellows with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage diversified crops on market-style farms and to engage deeply with community health initiatives. Our mission focuses on enhancing food and ecological literacy, mentoring future leaders, and supporting local food initiatives including farmers markets and community gardens. Over six months at our immersive Farm and Food Study, Fellows gain hands-on experience followed by a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with regional non-profits to implement their training. We encourage those interested to apply by March to join us in creating meaningful change in the food system from May through October.
