Located in Mescalero, NM, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans by providing essential weight management and health promotion services. Our mission centers around screening each Veteran who accesses care at VA facilities for obesity and connecting them with personalized weight management resources tailored to their individual needs and preferences. Through various options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! in-home messaging system, we ensure Veterans have access to comprehensive support. Additionally, those seeking self-guided weight management can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app, while Veterans facing ongoing challenges may explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
