Located in Mesilla Park, NM, the Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program is a welcoming and supportive initiative designed specifically for individuals newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This free, bilingual program spans 12 months and equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for effective diabetes management. As part of this comprehensive program, enrollees receive six informative e-booklets and a monthly e-newsletter packed with seasonal tips and community resources in both English and Spanish. Participants also have the unique opportunity to engage in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can connect with ADA experts, discuss a range of diabetes-related topics including the vital connection between diabetes and heart health, and access valuable giveaways to enhance their well-being.
