Located in Mesilla Park, NM, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through personalized weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities by providing annual obesity screenings and tailored referrals to various weight management options. We offer a range of care solutions to meet diverse needs, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-guided efforts, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides resources to manage weight independently. Additionally, we support Veterans who continue to struggle with weight-related issues by offering weight loss medications and bariatric surgery when necessary. To gain access to these valuable services, Veterans are encouraged to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider.
