The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Milan, NM is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for a just food system that values social, environmental, and economic factors. This transformative program provides aspiring fellows with comprehensive education in organic food systems, empowering them to grow, distribute, and innovate within diverse agricultural contexts. Participants engage in hands-on training at our farm, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with local non-profits to create sustainable food initiatives. Without any tuition fees, we strive to ensure accessibility, enabling fellows to develop skills that include establishing community gardens, integrating food literacy into educational settings, and supporting farmers markets that prioritize direct consumer access. Applications are open until March for an enriching experience that runs from May through October, where fellows learn, grow, and inspire positive changes in their communities.
