The MOVE! Weight Management Program in Ohkay Owingeh, NM, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to support every Veteran who receives care at VA facilities by providing comprehensive obesity screenings, personalized referrals to weight management services, and a variety of treatment options tailored to individual needs and preferences. Veterans can access a range of resources, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, the innovative TeleMOVE! program for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management. For those facing challenges despite these options, we also offer weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery.
