UNM Truman Health Services, located in Ohkay Owingeh, NM, is dedicated to offering compassionate and confidential care tailored for transgender individuals, those who are gender non-conforming, and anyone living with HIV, AIDS, or Hepatitis C. Our committed team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and behavioral health specialists, provides essential services ranging from transformative transgender health and wellness to comprehensive testing and treatment for Hepatitis C and HIV. We understand the importance of accessible healthcare, which is why we offer free rapid HIV testing and accept Medicare and Medicaid. Additional support through case management is available to assist participants in navigating health insurance and financial assistance. While there is currently a waitlist for our transgender health and wellness services, we remain steadfast in our mission to ensure that all other vital health services are readily accessible to those in need.
